Karachi: On the International Day of Democracy, Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad articulated a strong message about the crucial role of democracy in ensuring social justice and equality in Pakistan. He lauded the efforts of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and other democratic parties in strengthening democratic values and guiding the nation towards prosperity.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Deputy Mayor Murad emphasized that democracy allows every citizen the right to equality and is essential for the realization of social justice. He acknowledged the numerous challenges faced in protecting these democratic principles but affirmed that democratic institutions and political parties are fundamental in maintaining Pakistan’s developmental trajectory.
