Hub: In preparation for Muharram, officials in Kalat Division, led by Commissioner Muhammad Naeem Bazai and DIG Police Rahanj Munir Sheikh, have established a stringent security plan to ensure the safety of mourning processions and gatherings in Hub district.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the plan was detailed in a meeting at Leda Conference Hall, attended by numerous district administrative officers, including Deputy Commissioner Hub Rohana Gul Kakar and SP Hub Maruf Usman. The security strategy includes deploying officers in proportion to the number of events, the use of CCTV cameras, metal detectors, and walk-through gates at venues. Commissioner Bazai emphasized the importance of adhering to the security SOPs issued by the Balochistan Home Department and highlighted the need for vigilant monitoring of individuals posing potential risks during the observances. Additionally, continuous communication with the police control room will be maintained throughout the period.
