Islamabad, October 25, 2022 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister’s Adviser on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Qamar Zaman Kaira, has said that Pakistan has consistently raised the Kashmir dispute at the international forums. Qamar Zaman Kaira addressing an event in Islamabad, today (Tuesday), said that Pakistan always stood by the oppressed Kashmiri people engaged in a legitimate struggle to secure their right to self-determination.
The Advisor said the lingering Kashmir dispute is alive because of the unparalleled sacrifices being rendered by the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said the current situation in IIOJK is not acceptable at all. Referring to the Indian atrocities, he said the voice of Kashmiri people cannot be silenced through such tactics. Qamar Zaman Kaira said an economically and democratically strong Pakistan is important to effectively plead the case of the Kashmiri people.
