Kachhi District Roads Restored Post-Monsoon Floods, Thanks to Swift Government Action


Kachhi: A significant rehabilitation effort has been underway in Kutchi district following severe flooding caused by heavy monsoon rains that disrupted not only the national highway but also the smaller roads leading to many local villages. The restoration initiatives, led by Deputy Commissioner Kachhi Captain Retired Jameel Ahmad Baloch, have successfully reopened key routes, including a vital road from Haji Shahr to NH.65, easing the mobility challenges faced by the residents.



According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the district’s infrastructure suffered extensive damage during the monsoon season, prompting immediate action from local authorities. Deputy Commissioner Baloch took a personal interest in the matter, directing all tehsil administrations to prioritize road repairs along with other relief efforts. His leadership has been pivotal in expediting the restoration processes, and the reopening of the road from Haji Shahr to NH.65 marks a significant milestone in returning normalcy to the area.



The local community has expressed gratitude towards Deputy Commissioner Baloch for his dedication to restoring connectivity in the district.
