Kachhi Assistant Commissioner Responds to Monsoon Damage in Village Sardar Satakzai

Kachhi: Following monsoon rains that caused significant damage in Village Sardar Satakzai, Assistant Commissioner Mach Arslan Khan, acting on directives from Deputy Commissioner Kachhi Captain Retired Jameel Ahmed Baloch, conducted a visit to assess and address the situation.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, during his visit, Assistant Commissioner Khan observed the aftermath, including the collapse of walls in some of the village’s crude houses. He met with residents to review the damages and discuss potential solutions. The heavy rains, which have affected much of the country and particularly Balochistan due to runoff from hilly areas, prompted immediate action from local authorities.

Assistant Commissioner Khan announced plans to construct an emergency dam in the village with district administration support to prevent future incidents. He also advised the villagers against blocking roads as a form of protest, emphasizing that while the frustration is understandable, such actions complicate rather than solve problems. He encouraged residents to engage directly with tehsil administration to address their concerns effectively.

The visit highlighted the district’s proactive steps to manage the monsoon’s impact and underscored the administration’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents.
