Islamabad, July 08, 2021 (PPI-OT):Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib says the federal government will complete all ongoing projects of public welfare as provision of basic facilities to the masses is one of the responsibilities of the state. Addressing a news conference along with Chairman WAPDA Muzammil Hussain in Islamabad on Thursday, he said that K-IV project for provision of drinking water to citizens of Karachi will be completed by November 2023. He said that the people of Karachi are facing water shortage of 650 million gallon against required 1300 million gallon daily. The Chairman WAPDA, on the occasion said the K-IV project faced delays due to inappropriate design. He said WAPDA will accelerate work on this project in consultation with the Sindh government.
