JKPL condemns arrest of party chairman and others

Srinagar, October 09, 2021 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League has strongly condemned the arrest of party chairman, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza, and other Hurriyat leaders and activists in the territory. The JKPL in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Mukhtar Ahmed Waza was arrested by the police in Nai Basti area of Islamabad town in South Kashmir.

JKPL spokesman in a statement termed the arrest of party Chairman Mukhtar Waza and other Hurriyat leaders and activists as frustration of the occupation authorities. It is to mention here that Indian police and troops during house raids have arrested around 300 Kashmiris across the occupied territory in the last two days.
