Nottingham: The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) will hold the first-ever Kashmiri youth conference in Nottingham, UK, on July 14, focusing on educating British-born Kashmiri youth about their heritage and the region’s freedom movement.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the conference is designed to connect Kashmiri youth with their national identity and engage them in the ongoing freedom struggle. The event will include sessions on the political and legal status of Jammu and Kashmir, the roles of India, Pakistan, and the international community, and discussions on the future of the state. The JKLF Central Information Office stated that the conference aims to raise awareness among youth about their history, civilization, and culture, with inputs from human rights defenders, political leaders, and British representatives.
