JKEM expresses concern over surge in Indian state terrorism in IIOJK

Srinagar, September 30, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement (JKEM) has expressed grave concern over the surge in Indian state terrorism in the territory. The JKEM spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Indian troops had intensified their atrocities in the occupied territory and were killing innocent youth during the so-called cordon and search operations.

He paid rich tributes to the youth recently martyred by Indian troops and said that India could not change the basic reality of the Kashmir dispute through its cruel tactics. He urged New Delhi to give up its stubborn and oppressive policy towards Kashmir and resolve the lingering dispute by giving the Kashmiris their right to self-determination.

The spokesman lamented that the Indian troops were committing genocide of Kashmiris to turn Kashmir’s Muslim majority-status into a minority. He urged the UN and the international human rights bodies to increase pressure on India to end human rights abuses in the occupied territory.
