Muzaffarabad, February 03, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Jamaat-e-Islami of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit and Baltistan has strongly condemned Indian atrocities in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and announced to observe Week of Solidarity in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day. The Acting Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Sheikh Aqeel-ur-Rehman, District Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Abdul Laeef Abbasi, District General Secretary Hafiz Syed Abdul Samad, President of JI Youth Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Mehmood Zaidi and Ameer Shahr Sheikh Manzoor addressing a press conference in Muzaffarabad said that Jamaat-e-Islami has planned various programmes to observe the Solidarity Week.
They urged the people of Pakistan, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan to participate in large number in the Kashmir Solidarity Day functions to convey a message to the world, in general, and India, in particular, that the people of IIOJK are not alone in their struggle for freedom from India. Raheela Qazi, daughter of former JI Pakistan Ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmed, and the central vice-Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaquat Baloch will lead the rally in Muzaffarabad.
