Jammu Police Detain 15 in Connection with Youth’s Murder


Jammu: In response to the murder of a young man named Sahil Choudhary, Indian police have detained over fifteen individuals for questioning. The incident occurred in the Jammu district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where Choudhary’s body was discovered in a pool of blood near Barjala-Miran Sahib.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the grim discovery was made shortly after Choudhary attended a party at a friend’s residence. Ajeet Singh of Krishna Nagar, Miran Sahib, an uncle of the deceased, lodged a formal complaint at Police Station Satwari, asserting that his nephew was killed by unidentified assailants.



The police have launched a series of raids across various locations in the Jammu district, resulting in the detention of 15 suspects. They are currently analyzing Call Detail Records (CDRs) of both the deceased and the suspects to piece together the events leading to Choudhary’s death and to deliver justice to his family. The investigation into this murder is ongoing.
