Jammu and Kashmir Forum in Paris Declares India’s Republic Day as Black Day

Paris, The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum France organized an event in Paris to observe India’s Republic Day as Black Day. The gathering, which took place in the French capital, aimed to draw attention to the situation in the Indian-administered region of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the event was chaired by Mirza Asif Jaral, Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum France. The speakers at the ceremony criticized India’s handling of the region, claiming that it had been turned into a prison. They expressed disappointment over the lack of international response to the situation. The speakers emphasized that the overseas Pakistani and Kashmiri communities have been actively working to reveal what they perceive as the true nature of India’s actions in Jammu and Kashmir.

The participants called for intensified efforts to achieve freedom for Jammu and Kashmir, urging peace-loving countries worldwide to recognize and expose India’s actions in the region. They announced plans to observe India’s Independence Day as another Black Day and stressed the need to reconfigure policies for a more practical struggle. The speakers reiterated the Kashmiri people’s determination to continue their struggle for the right to self-determination until they achieve complete success.

The event featured several speakers, including Mirza Asif Jaral, Sahibzada Atiqur Rahman, Raja Babar Hussain, Malik Munir Ahmed, Raja Ashfaq, and Imran Butt. Each highlighted various aspects of the Kashmir issue and the need for international attention and support.
