Srinagar, September 14, 2021 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leader, Jahangir Ghani Butt, along with a delegation visited the residence of veteran Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani, in Hyderpora area of Srinagar and condoled his demise.
Speaking on the occasion, Jahangir Ghani Butt paid glowing tributes to the veteran Hurriyat leader for his services for the Kashmir cause. He said that Syed Ali Gilani led the Kashmir freedom movement during harsh and turbulent times and never accepted the hegemony of tyrant India.
Jahangir Ghani Butt said the veteran leader’s demise is a huge loss to the Kashmir freedom movement. He maintained that the best tribute to Syed Ali Gilani will be to fallow in his foot-steps and carry forward the ongoing struggle for securing the right to self-determination. The delegation included Maroof Younis Shah, Muhammad Akbar Butt and Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari.
