Jafarabad Authorities Launch Crackdown on Unqualified Medical Practitioners

Jafarabad, In a concerted effort to ensure public health and safety, authorities in Jafarabad, led by Deputy Commissioner Azhar Shehzad, have initiated a rigorous campaign against unqualified medical practitioners and non-compliant medical store owners. The crackdown aims to curb the practice of unauthorized medical treatment, which poses significant risks to the community.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the operation involved Assistant Commissioner Jhatpat, District Health Officer Dr. Ayaz Hussain Jamali, a Drug Inspector, and local police forces. They conducted inspections of clinics and pharmacies in the area, resulting in the sealing of three clinics and the issuance of stern warnings to five pharmacies. These establishments were instructed to dispose of expired medical supplies and adhere strictly to health department SOPs to avoid closure or license revocation.

Deputy Commissioner Azhar Shahzad emphasized the administration’s commitment to ending illegal medical practices. He highlighted that unqualified practitioners not only fail to provide necessary medical care but also endanger lives, a situation the district authorities are determined to rectify. The administration has made it clear that violations of government health regulations will lead to severe consequences, including legal action.
