‘I’ve been following Gandhian principles’, says Yasin Malik ahead of sentencing 

Srinagar, May 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):Ahead of his sentencing in a false case, Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, Muhammad Yasin Malik, said in a Delhi court that he has been following Gandhian principles and non-violent politics in Kashmir for the last many decades. Yasin Malik said in a special court of India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) in Delhi hours before it was to pronounce his sentence in a the fabricated case. The NIA has sought death penalty for Yasin Malik.

As per the Kashmir watchers and experts, the minimum sentence he can get in the case is life imprisonment and the maximum sentence is the death penalty. In the morning, the NIA court reserved its order till 3.30 pm. In view of Yasin Malik’s sentencing, there was heavy police deployment at Patiala House Court in Delhi, today.
