Srinagar, August 03, 2022 (PPI-OT):This is possible only in India under Modi that the country trampling all moral values forcibly hoisted its flag on the head office of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, whose entire leadership is behind bars for challenging New Delhi’s illegal occupation over their homeland, Jammu and Kashmir.

The Indian flag was affixed by a gang of Hindu extremists led by Sandeep Mawa at the behest of the Modi regime on the gate of APHC office in Srinagar as part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, launched by the BJP fascist government in India.

This comes ahead of India’s 75th Independence Day which is celebrated on August 15 while the people of Jammu and Kashmir observe the day as Black Day in protest against presence of over one million Indian troops in the territory in contravention of the UN resolutions as well as the will of its inhabitants.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday changed his profile picture on social media accounts to a tricolour and also urged citizens to do the same. Modi urged people to hoist or display the flag at their home between August 13 and 15 to strengthen the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. “This year, when we are marking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, let us strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga Movement. Hoist the Tricolour or display it in your homes between 13th and 15th August,” he said in a tweet.

Political analysts ridiculed the Indian government’s act of forcibly hoisting the flag on the head office of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference as part of Modi’s Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. They said the BJP government can occupy the offices and houses of Kashmiri people by the dint of force but cannot win their hearts and minds.
