North Arabian Sea: The Italian Navy Ship ITS Antonio Marceglia engaged in a bilateral exercise with a Pakistan Navy ship and aircraft in the North Arabian Sea. The exercise aimed to enhance operational efficiency and foster closer cooperation between the two naval forces.

The exercise included a comprehensive series of advanced operational drills. These drills focused on key aspects of maritime warfare, intending to improve coordination in maritime security operations. The participation of ITS Antonio Marceglia follows the earlier visit of the Italian Carrier Strike Group, which included ITS Cavour and ITS Alpino, to Karachi in October 2024. This visit further strengthened the bond between the Italian and Pakistan navies, reflecting a growing strategic relationship between the two nations.

The joint exercise highlights the importance of naval cooperation, reaffirming both countries’ commitment to strengthening bilateral ties. The exercise concluded with a shared aim to expand collaboration and explore new avenues for mutual cooperation between the navies of Italy and Pakistan.
