Karachi, The newly appointed Italian Ambassador to Pakistan, Marilia Armellin, accompanied by Governor of Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori, visited several key cultural and welfare sites in Karachi on May 4. Their tour included the Quaid Rome, IT marquee, Ration Bags, and Bells of Hope initiatives under the program “Powerful Pakistan.”
According to Sindh Governor House, during their visit, the Ambassador took a keen interest in historical artifacts used by Pakistan’s founding father, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, at the Quaid Rome site. Ambassador Armellin also left her impressions in the guest book kept in Quaid’s room. Governor Tesori showcased the IT marquee and Bell of Hope to the Ambassador, highlighting their significance and utility in the region’s social welfare efforts.
The visit also included an inspection of the ration bags provided under the “Powerful Pakistan” initiative, where Ambassador Armellin commended the Governor of Sindh’s exemplary welfare activities. The engagements are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cultural and social ties between Italy and Pakistan.
