Islamabad, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has issued a stern warning, stating that Pakistan is prepared to respond decisively and effectively should India engage in any aggression similar to that of 2019, particularly in light of India’s forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in a podcast with a digital media channel, Prime Minister Kakar emphasized Pakistan’s readiness to counter any acts of aggression from India. He assured that Pakistan’s response would mirror the actions taken in 2019, reflecting the country’s unwavering resolve and robust defense capabilities.
The Prime Minister stressed that there should be no illusions about Pakistan’s ability to defend itself and protect its citizens. He highlighted the comprehensive defense mechanism in place, indicating the nation’s preparedness for any potential threats.
Further, Prime Minister Kakar pointed out the ongoing Kashmir dispute as a continuous source of tension between the two countries. He expressed his view that until this long-standing issue is resolved, the possibility of conflict remains a persistent concern in the region.
