ISLAMABAD: A farewell ceremony was held at the Islamabad Traffic Police Headquarters to honor Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Muhammad Sarfraz Virk.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the ceremony was attended by DG Safe City/DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya, Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan, Director ITP FM Ayesha Jameel, and members of the Islamabad Traffic Police family.

During the event, senior police officers acknowledged SSP Virk’s leadership, professional competence, commitment to public service, and contributions to the Islamabad Traffic Police during his tenure as Chief Traffic Officer.

The DG Safe City/DIG Traffic highlighted improvements in traffic management, public facilitation, road safety, and professional performance in Islamabad under Virk’s leadership, emphasizing the lasting impact of these efforts.

At the ceremony’s conclusion, the DIG Safe City and CTO Islamabad presented a commemorative shield to SSP Virk, extending best wishes for his future endeavors.
