Islamabad: Today marks the observance of International Day against Breast Cancer, aimed at heightening awareness of the disease and improving access to diagnosis and treatment for women globally.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this year’s theme, “No one should face breast cancer alone,” highlights the importance of comprehensive patient-centered care. This approach not only includes medical interventions but also emphasizes the necessity for emotional, psychological, and social support through various patient navigation systems. The theme further addresses the need to overcome gender and socio-economic disparities in accessing breast cancer treatment and support services.
