Islamabad, The Senate Secretariat organized a training session for its drivers at the Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS) today, focusing on updated traffic rules and road safety measures. The event, led by the City Traffic Police of Islamabad, was part of an ongoing initiative to ensure the safety and responsible conduct of the drivers associated with the upper house of the country.
According to Senate of Pakistan, Joint Secretary of the Senate Secretariat Jamil Ahmed Khoso, Executive Director of PIPS Muhammad Anwar, and Chief Traffic Police Officer of Islamabad SSP Sarfraz Virk were present at the session. The training aimed to educate the drivers on the latest developments in traffic regulations and the importance of safe driving practices.
During the session, Joint Secretary Khoso emphasized that safe driving is crucial not only for the safety of the drivers but also reflects the discipline and behavior of the nation. He highlighted that the regular training of Senate drivers is a testament to the Senate Secretariat’s commitment to road safety and responsible driving.
The training concluded with Joint Secretary Khoso and Deputy Secretary Mudassar Sher Ali Gondal presenting honorary souvenirs to CTO Islamabad and other traffic police officials in recognition of their efforts to promote road safety.
