Islamabad Police Vows To Tackle Public Grievances In Open Court

Islamabad: Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Investigations/Complaints Syed Inayat Ali Shah affirmed the Islamabad Police’s dedication to promptly addressing public concerns.

He made this statement while hearing complaints from the public and police personnel during an open court session at the Central Police Office Islamabad.

During the proceedings, he reviewed citizen complaints and assigned them to the relevant authorities for prompt action. He also instructed them to submit reports to his office within specified deadlines.

Shah warned of severe consequences for officers engaged in bribery or corruption, emphasizing a zero-tolerance approach.

He reiterated the Islamabad Police’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens. He added that such public engagements would continue to provide maximum relief to the community.

The AIG emphasized that these open courts foster positive police-community relations and ensure accountability, leading to swift resolution of citizen issues. He maintained that the protection of life, property, and dignity of citizens is paramount.
