Islamabad Police Take Initiative to Address Citizen Concerns

ISLAMABAD: In an effort to address public grievances, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, conducted an open court session at his office. The initiative aims to provide a direct platform for citizens to voice their concerns, with immediate directives issued for their resolution.

DIG Islamabad underscored the availability of the “IGP Complaint Cell 1715,” a platform for lodging complaints. He noted that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has instructed senior officers to organize similar open forums across the district.

Zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) have been tasked with conducting open courts in their respective areas. The goal is to ensure that citizen complaints are heard and addressed.

DIG Tariq reiterated the commitment of the Islamabad Police to actively engage with the public in addressing issues. He encouraged residents to utilize these forums, affirming that resolving public grievances remains a top priority for the police force.
