Islamabad: In a move to address the pressing concerns of police officers, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq convened an orderly room on Saturday following directives from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad. The session aimed at ensuring timely and prioritized solutions to both departmental and personal issues faced by the officers.
Officers from the Operations division participated, bringing forward their personal and official grievances to the DIG. In response, DIG Tariq instructed senior officers to revisit inquiries into serious matters and to address outstanding issues with urgency.
During the session, DIG Tariq highlighted initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of police officials, including housing, medical facilities, and educational standards. He assured officers that his office is always open to them for any issues they might face.
The orderly room, he emphasized, was organized to prioritize the resolution of welfare, personal, and official issues, underscoring a commitment to collaborative improvement for the city.
