ISLAMABAD: In a recent assessment of security arrangements for Friday prayers, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza conducted visits to various mosques, imambargahs, and duty points across the city.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the two senior officers engaged with police personnel stationed at these locations, offering words of encouragement and acknowledging their commitment to duty. The DIG underscored the importance of maintaining preparedness to address any law and order situations in compliance with legal protocols. He affirmed the police force’s dedication to preserving peace in the capital, emphasizing the use of all available resources to safeguard citizens and property.
Furthermore, the DIG instructed senior officers to continually brief their teams and personally oversee duty arrangements. Officers on duty are expected to be fully equipped, with a directive for senior personnel to inspect different city areas to ensure the adherence to these security measures.
