Islamabad: In an effort to enhance security across the federal capital, the Islamabad Police conducted a comprehensive search and combing operation in the Tarnol jurisdiction. This move follows directives from Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi to curb criminal activities and ensure public safety.
Under the leadership of Deputy Inspector General Muhammad Jawad Tariq, the operation saw checks on 65 individuals, 60 houses, 14 shops, 22 vehicles, and 30 motorcycles. Eight individuals deemed suspicious were taken to the police station for further legal proceedings.
These operations are part of a broader strategy to strengthen the security framework citywide. The police have committed to ongoing actions against criminal elements, including land grabbers and drug traffickers.
Authorities are urging citizens to assist by reporting any suspicious activities through local police stations or the Pucar-15 emergency helpline.
