Islamabad Police Prioritizes Public Grievance Redressal Through Open Courts

Islamabad: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq conducted an open court at his office to address public complaints and issued immediate orders for their resolution.

During the session, DIG Tariq highlighted the “IGP Complaint Cell-1715” as an additional avenue for citizens to lodge complaints. He noted that Islamabad’s Inspector General of Police (IGP), Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has directed all senior officers to hold similar open courts throughout the district.

Following these instructions, zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) are also holding open forums in their respective areas to ensure community concerns are heard and addressed promptly. He affirmed the capital police’s commitment to public engagement and effective problem-solving.

The DIG encouraged all Islamabad residents to utilize these platforms to voice their concerns. He stated that resolving public grievances is the topmost priority for the Islamabad Police.
