Islamabad Police Pledge to Address Public Concerns Promptly

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have underscored their commitment to resolving public issues expeditiously, as announced by SP Security and Administration Operations Pari Gull Tareen. The announcement was made during an open court held at her office, where citizens were invited to voice their concerns.

During the session, SP Tareen listened to the citizens’ complaints and ensured that their applications were forwarded to the relevant officers for prompt action. She mandated that reports on these issues be submitted to her office within a specified timeframe to ensure accountability.

SP Tareen highlighted a strict policy against corruption, indicating that any officers found engaging in bribery would face severe consequences. This zero-tolerance approach is part of a broader initiative to secure the lives and property of Islamabad’s residents.

The open court initiative, directed by IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aims to foster transparency and strengthen community relations. SP Tareen emphasized that consistent interaction with the public is crucial for promoting friendly policing and ensuring the timely resolution of citizens’ issues.

The commitment from the Islamabad Police reflects a proactive approach to law enforcement, focusing on the protection and respect of citizens’ rights and properties.
