Islamabad Police Nab Notorious Bike Lifter; Recover Stolen Motorbikes and Valuables

Islamabad, In a significant crackdown on criminal activities, the Islamabad Capital Police successfully apprehended a wanted member of a notorious bike lifter gang, involved in a series of thefts across the city. The operation led to the recovery of four stolen motorbikes, spare parts, and other valuable items, marking a considerable achievement in the city’s ongoing battle against crime.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the arrest was made by the Shahzad Town police team following the special instructions of Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO). The police intensified their efforts to eliminate criminal elements from Islamabad, employing both technical and human resources in their operations.

The accused, identified only as Shahzaib, was a known former jailbird and a member of the bike lifter gang implicated in numerous criminal activities throughout Islamabad. The swift action of the Shahzad Town police not only led to his arrest but also the recovery of stolen property, significantly disrupting the operations of this criminal network.

In light of this success, the Islamabad Capital Police have registered cases against the accused and are conducting further investigations to dismantle the remaining network of the gang. The police have also called upon the citizens of Islamabad to cooperate with law enforcement agencies by reporting any suspicious individuals or activities through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15” or the “ICT-15” mobile application.
