ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Traffic Police has launched a paperless licensing process, a move aimed at modernizing the city’s licensing system. The initiative was inaugurated by Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, during a visit to the Traffic Police Headquarters in Faizabad.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the launch event was attended by Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Muhammad Sarfraz Virk, SP Traffic, and other police officials. The new system eliminates the need for medical forms, photographs, and other documents, streamlining the process from medical examination to license issuance.
IGP Rizvi emphasized that the primary goal of the new system is to provide maximum convenience to citizens and save their time. He noted that the implementation of modern technology would enhance transparency and improve the efficiency of services provided to the public.
