Islamabad Police Launches ‘Mechanic on Wheels’ Service to Aid Motorists

Islamabad, The Islamabad Traffic Police, under the guidance of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has introduced a new initiative called “Mechanic on Wheels” to assist motorists experiencing vehicle breakdowns. This service aims to enhance the travel experience within the city and ensure the safety of its citizens.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the “Mechanic on Wheels” service was officially inaugurated by SSP Traffic Muhammad Sarfraz Virk and is designed to provide immediate roadside assistance to motorists in distress. Citizens can access this service 24/7 by calling the Islamabad Traffic Police helpline at “1915”. On the occasion, SSP Traffic emphasized that this initiative reflects the commitment of the Islamabad Traffic Police to improve traffic flow, reduce the likelihood of accidents, and alleviate the challenges faced by citizens during travel.
