Islamabad Police Intensify Search Operations, Over 444 Individuals Checked


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police, following directives from Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has ramped up its search and combing operations across the federal capital in an effort to mitigate criminal activities. These operations resulted in the comprehensive checking of over 444 individuals, along with numerous households, hotels, shops, motorcycles, and vehicles.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were conducted under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, with monitoring by respective zonal SPs. The initiative led to the checking of 161 households, 20 hotels, 73 shops, 215 motorcycles, and 115 vehicles. Additionally, 11 individuals and 22 motorcycles deemed suspicious were taken to police stations for further verification.



SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza emphasized the aim to tighten the grip on criminal elements and enhance security measures citywide. The operations are part of a broader strategy to combat crime, targeting criminal entities, land grabbers, and drug dealers across various districts in Islamabad.
