ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police, acting on directives from Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has intensified its efforts to combat crime in the capital through a series of search and combing operations.
In a recent operation, police teams under the supervision of SP Industrial Area conducted extensive searches in the jurisdiction of the Noon Police Station. The operation saw inspections of 50 individuals, 15 commercial establishments, 45 residences, and 38 vehicles.
As a result, eight individuals deemed suspicious were taken to the local police station for further verification.
Deputy Inspector General Muhammad Jawad Tariq emphasized that the operations are designed to clamp down on criminal activities and bolster security measures across Islamabad.
He reiterated the police’s commitment to taking firm action against criminal elements, including land grabbers and drug dealers.
Residents have been encouraged to report any suspicious activities to the police or through the emergency helpline, “Pucar-15.”
