ISLAMABAD: In a concerted effort to enhance security and curb criminal activity, the Islamabad Police have conducted extensive search and combing operations across the federal capital, resulting in the checking of over 521 individuals. These operations were initiated following directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were carried out under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by the respective zonal SPs. During the operations, authorities checked 274 households, 50 hotels, 93 shops, 552 motorcycles, and 105 vehicles. Additionally, 24 individuals and 20 motorcycles deemed suspicious were taken to the police station for further verification.
SSP Operations Islamabad emphasized that these operations aim to clamp down on criminal elements and bolster security across the city. The police are conducting similar operations throughout the district to take action against criminal elements, including land grabbers and drug dealers.
