Islamabad Police Intensifies Operations in Sabzi Mandi to Enhance Security

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have launched a search and combing operation in the Sabzi Mandi area as part of ongoing efforts to address criminal activity and bolster security, following directives from Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.

The operation involved the examination of 221 individuals, 65 shops, 31 vehicles, and 43 motorcycles. Authorities detained 69 Afghan nationals without legal documentation for further legal proceedings.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Islamabad reiterated the goal of these operations is to strengthen security and curtail criminal elements. The police department plans to maintain its campaign against criminals, land grabbers, and drug traffickers.

The public is encouraged to support these initiatives by reporting any suspicious activities to local police or via the Pucar-15 emergency helpline.
