Islamabad Police Intensifies Crackdown On Crime With Sabzi Mandi Search Operation

Islamabad: Islamabad police conducted an extensive search operation in the Sabzi Mandi area on Monday to combat unlawful acts and bolster public safety.

The operation, directed by Inspector General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, is part of a larger initiative to suppress criminal activities in the capital. Law enforcement scrutinized 63 people, 35 businesses, 18 motorcycles, and 11 automobiles. Two motorcycles were impounded for further investigation.

Deputy Inspector General Muhammad Jawad Tariq explained that the operation aimed to apprehend criminals and improve citywide security. Similar operations are underway in other sectors, targeting criminals, land grabbers, and narcotics traffickers.

Tariq encouraged residents to assist police by reporting suspicious behavior to local stations or the Pucar-15 emergency hotline.
