Islamabad Police Initiative: Open Courts to Address Public Grievances

Islamabad: The Islamabad Police have launched a new initiative to address public grievances more effectively through the establishment of open courts. Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, conducted one such open court at his office, taking immediate steps to resolve citizens’ issues.

DIG Tariq highlighted that citizens have the option to register their complaints via the “IGP Complaint Cell 1715.” This initiative aligns with the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, who has instructed senior police officers across the district to hold open courts.

To ensure comprehensive coverage, all zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) are conducting open courts in their respective zones. This aims to ensure that citizens’ concerns are heard and addressed.

The Islamabad Police emphasize their commitment to engaging with the public and effectively resolving their issues. Citizens are encouraged to participate and share their grievances, as resolving these concerns remains a top priority for the police force.
