ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, convened an open court at his office to address the grievances of citizens, issuing immediate directives for their resolution. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Islamabad Police to engage directly with the community and resolve public issues effectively.
At the open court, DIG Tariq highlighted the availability of the “IGP Complaint Cell 1715” as an alternative channel for the public to register their complaints. He noted that Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has mandated all senior police officers to organize similar open forums throughout the district.
In adherence to these guidelines, all zonal Senior Superintendents of Police (SPs) are conducting open courts in their respective zones, ensuring that citizens’ concerns are heard and addressed.
DIG Tariq reaffirmed the commitment of the Islamabad Police to actively reach out to the public and prioritize the resolution of their issues. He encouraged all citizens to participate in these forums and share their grievances openly. The resolution of public complaints remains a top priority for the Islamabad Police.
