Islamabad Police Honors Officers During “Ghazi Week” Ceremony

ISLAMABAD: Under the directive of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, a ceremony was conducted at the Rescue 15 Field Office to honor the Ghazis of Islamabad Police. The event, which took place as part of the “Ghazi Week” observance, was attended by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and other distinguished members of the police force.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Operations Islamabad addressed the ceremony, emphasizing the significance of the day as one of pride, gratitude, and renewed commitment. He paid tribute to the officers, acknowledging their sense of duty and sacrifice. SSP Raza highlighted that the officers, who have contributed to making Islamabad a peaceful city, are considered the “crown jewels” of the police force, embodying the spirit of national service.

SSP Raza further stated that the contributions of these officers, who have fought in the war on terrorism, are invaluable and cannot be replaced by any benefits. He stressed the importance of remembering the Ghazis and respecting the families of those who have sacrificed their lives for the nation, ensuring that their legacy endures in history.
