Islamabad: Islamabad Police has partnered with the State Bank of Pakistan and the National Police Foundation to streamline service payments through a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), enhancing the convenience for citizens and officers alike.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the MOU, signed by AIG General and representatives from the State Bank, will allow the public to use any bank or wallet service to make payments to the Islamabad Traffic Police via One Link. This initiative is designed to simplify transactions and improve access to police services. Additionally, the agreement with the National Police Foundation, signed by the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) and the Technical Head of NPF, ensures that the foundation will provide essential technical support to the police force.
Inspector General of Police, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, emphasized the benefits of these agreements, noting that they will not only enhance public facilities but also the overall delivery of police services. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Islamabad Police to continuously strive towards offering superior services and facilities to the community.
