Islamabad Police Educates University Students on Public Service Technology

ISLAMABAD: In an effort to enhance public engagement and safety, the Islamabad Police organized a lecture for students of COMSATS University, focusing on the use and benefits of recently launched public service applications.

The lecture, held under the directive of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, introduced students to several digital platforms designed to improve citizen convenience. Among the applications discussed were the One Info App, the Online Women Police Station, the Emergency Helpline Oucar-15, and the Taxi Verification App.

The session provided a detailed guide on the functionality of these apps, educating students on how to effectively utilize these services. The initiative aims to familiarize young citizens with tools that can enhance their safety.

Students were also briefed on community policing. The discussion emphasized the importance of digital tools in promoting public safety and convenience.

The lecture sought to encourage students to leverage these tools for their benefit and to foster a collaborative approach towards creating a safer society in partnership with the Islamabad Police.
