Islamabad Police Detain 10 Outlaws in Major Crackdown, Seize Drugs and Weapons

Islamabad, In a broad operation against criminal activity, the Islamabad Capital Police arrested 10 outlaws across various parts of the city over the last 24 hours, seizing a significant quantity of drugs and weapons. This crackdown is part of an intensified effort to root out crime and ensure public safety in the capital.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operation was carried out under the directives of Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO). The law enforcement’s aggressive stance against criminal elements underscores a commitment to eliminate illegal activities from Islamabad.

The police teams from different precincts made several key arrests during the operation. The Karachi Company police apprehended Shahid Safdar, finding him in possession of a 30 bore pistol. The Tarnol police arrested Shahid for illegally selling petrol, while the Noon police detained Muhammad Zafar for unlawful cylinder gas refilling. Additionally, the Khanna police nabbed Younas Khan and Hussain Khan, also for illegally selling petrol.

The Koral police team’s efforts led to the arrest of four individuals Usama Samad, Shah Zaib, Muhammad Ali, and Jawad Khan involved in drug peddling and illegal weapon possession. From them, the police confiscated 1230 grams of heroin and three 30 bore pistols. Furthermore, the Kirpa police arrested Muhammad Saqit for his involvement in the illegal petrol trade.

Following these arrests, the Islamabad Capital Police registered cases against the accused, initiating further investigations. Senior police officials have issued directives for an even more vigorous crackdown on criminal elements, emphasizing that the safety and security of the citizens remain the top priority. The statement reinforced the administration’s zero-tolerance policy towards any compromise on public safety.
