Islamabad Police Conducts Extensive Search Operations Targeting Criminal Activity

ISLAMABAD: In an effort to combat crime and enhance security across the city, the Islamabad Police have conducted intensive search and combing operations in various areas of the federal capital, resulting in the checking of over 561 individuals, according to a press release.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the search operations were part of a directive from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The operations were supervised by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by the respective zonal SPs. During these operations, police checked 254 households, 24 shops, 242 motorcycles, and 135 vehicles. As a result, 13 individuals and 28 motorcycles were taken to the police station for further verification.

SSP Operations Islamabad emphasized that these operations aim to crack down on criminal elements and improve security measures throughout the city. The police have been conducting similar operations in different areas across the district as part of an ongoing effort to act against criminal activities, including land grabbing and drug dealing.
