Islamabad Police Conduct Citywide Search Operations, Over 674 Individuals Checked

ISLAMABAD: In a move to enhance security and curb criminal activities, the Islamabad Police conducted extensive search and combing operations across the federal capital, thoroughly checking over 674 individuals. The operations were part of a strategic initiative directed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, these operations, supervised by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by respective zonal SPs, aimed to tighten the noose around criminal elements in the city. The comprehensive checks included 259 households, 31 hotels, 26 shops, 260 motorcycles, and 96 vehicles. As a result, 31 suspicious individuals and 10 motorcycles were taken to police stations for further verification.

SSP Operations Islamabad emphasized the importance of these operations in enhancing security measures across the city. The police department continues its indiscriminate actions against criminal elements, including land grabbers and drug dealers. Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious activities to their nearest police station or via the emergency helpline “Pucaar-15.”
