Islamabad Police Arrests 10 Outlaws: Recover Drugs, Liquor, and Weapons

Islamabad, In a continued effort to curb crime, the Islamabad Capital Police detained 10 outlaws, which included two professional beggars, from various parts of the city. The police also successfully recovered narcotics, liquor, and a cache of weapons during the operation.

According to a news release by Islamabad Capital Police, the arrest came as a part of the intensified crackdown directed by Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan. As a part of the operation, the Aabpara police arrested an individual identified as Yasir, confiscating 1860-gram hashish from him. In another apprehension, the Karachi Company police detained Zakir Hussain and seized eight bottles of wine. Multiple other arrests led to the recovery of firearms, including a Kalashnikov and several 9mm and 30 bore pistols.

Further amplifying the crackdown on criminal activity, the police also detained two professional beggars, registering cases against them under the beggar act.

Reiterating the commitment of the police department, ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan emphasized the priority of citizen safety and security. He affirmed that there would be no compromise in maintaining law and order and stressed continued rigorous actions against criminal elements.
