ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have successfully apprehended two wanted members of notorious bike snatcher gangs, according to a press release from Islamabad Capital Police. The operation, conducted by the Lohi Bher police team, utilized both technical and human resources to capture the individuals involved in numerous bike lifting and snatching activities.
The police have recovered 14 snatched motorbikes and cash from the possession of the arrested suspects. Cases have already been registered against them, and further investigation is underway to uncover more details about their criminal activities.
DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq has directed officers to continue taking effective measures against those involved in criminal activities. He emphasized the importance of protecting the life and property of citizens and stated that no criminal element will be allowed to disturb public peace. Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious activities through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15.”
