Islamabad, In a significant crackdown on criminal activities, Islamabad Capital Police’s Shahzad Town teams have apprehended three key members of a notorious motorbike lifter gang. The arrests led to the recovery of six stolen motorbikes and various weapons, marking a notable success in the city’s fight against crime.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operation was conducted under the specific instructions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, who has called for an intensified campaign against criminal elements within the city. Utilizing both technical and human intelligence resources, the Shahzad Town police team managed to capture Hamad Arshad, Muhammad Waseem, and Muhammad Fayyaz, all of whom were wanted for their involvement in numerous criminal activities.
The police team’s efforts also resulted in the recovery of weapons used in these crimes, further dismantling the operational capabilities of this gang. Following the arrests, cases have been registered against the accused, and investigations are ongoing to uncover further details and potentially identify additional accomplices.
