Islamabad Police Arrest 21 Criminals, Seize Weapons and Drugs

ISLAMABAD, In a significant crackdown on criminal activities, Islamabad Capital Police have detained 21 outlaws and confiscated an array of illegal items including liquor, drugs, and weapons. The arrests occurred across various sectors of the city over the past day.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were carried out in alignment with instructions from Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan to intensify efforts against criminal elements. The objective is to eradicate crime and ensure the safety of Islamabad’s citizens.

The police teams from different stations of the capital made significant recoveries during these arrests, which included pistols, a dagger, wine bottles, a rifle, and substantial quantities of heroin and hashish. These arrests and seizures represent a coordinated push to address the illegal possession of weapons and the distribution of narcotics within the city.

ICCPO Dr. Khan has ordered a continued strict approach in the crackdown against outlaws, emphasizing that the police force must maintain vigilance to ensure the public’s safety. Investigations are in progress following the registration of cases against the arrested individuals.
