ISLAMABAD: In a recent operation, Islamabad Police apprehended twelve individuals suspected of engaging in criminal activities, recovering drugs and firearms from their possession. According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operation resulted in the arrest of eight individuals involved in various criminal activities. Authorities seized 171 grams of Ice, three pistols, and one gun with ammunition during the arrests.

Police have filed cases against the suspects, and investigations are ongoing. Additionally, as part of a targeted campaign to arrest proclaimed offenders and fugitives, police teams apprehended five more suspects. The operation follows directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad, as the department intensifies efforts to combat crime and maintain order in the capital.

SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza stated that the police remain dedicated to safeguarding the lives and property of residents, emphasizing that no disturbances to public peace will be tolerated. The Islamabad Police urge citizens to report suspicious activities to local police stations or via the emergency helpline “Pucar-15,” promoting cooperation between law enforcement and the community to eliminate crime.
